Ready to hit the slopes? The First Timer Package is crafted for first-time skiers and snowboarders to jumpstart their snow journey. Perfect for learning the basics in a fun, supportive environment, this all-in-one package sets you up for an amazing day on the mountain.

Learner Area Lift Pass: Access all surface (conveyor) lifts from 9am – 4pm, with select chairlifts available in the afternoon as you progress:

Mt Hutt: Nor'West Express from 1:30pm

Full-Day Group Lesson: From 10am – 3:30pm (includes 50 minute break for lunch)

Kids aged 13+ may join adult lessons if space allows - see the Snowsports staff at check-in

Equipment Rental: Skis/snowboard, boots, poles/wristguards, and helmet included.

Please ensure you have your MyPass card with you before heading to the Rentals department (details below).

Please allow sufficient time to get fitted to your rental equipment any delays can mean you miss your lesson.

Please note: Jacket & Pants Rentals are not included - these can be hired from us separately.

For hygiene reasons we do not hire Googles, Hats or Gloves, but you can purchase these from our retail shop on mountain.
Lesson Meeting Points:
Arrive at the Snowsports meeting area (look for the flags) on snow by 9:45am with all your equipment ready

Helpful Tips:

Before heading to the lifts or collecting your Rental Equipment you will need to get your MyPass Card. This is your ticket to the mountain and you can print it from one of our Kiosks by scanning the barcode in your order confirmation email or by visiting Guest Services.

Plan to be on the mountain one hour before your lesson start time to collect your MyPass Card from our Kiosks or Guest Services and your Rental Equipment.

Allow extra travel time during peak times or winter conditions

In the unlikely event that a lesson has only one person in it, there will be a reduced lesson time.
To Change Your Booking:

You can make some changes to your reservations, subject to availability.

Log in to your account and head to your Profile page

Select "Overview and then "Order History"

Find your order and select "DETAILS"

Select "RESERVATIONS"

Select "RESCHEDULE" and then your preferred date.

Changing Lesson Reservations:

Lessons are subject to availability and must be rescheduled no later than 24 hours before your lesson start time.
