Summer Open Day

A special opportunity to experience summer at Mt Hutt! Mt Hutt Open Day is a community fundraising event, run in partnership with the Lions Club of Methven. All proceeds will be donated to the Opuke Innovation Hub at Mount Hutt College to help towards completion of the facility. 

From 10am to 4pm the Summit 6 chairlift will be spinning for sightseers, walkers, and mountain bikers alike. Light refreshments will be available to purchase and the views, as always, will be unlimited! Visitors will be able to descend on the chairlift, walk or bike down from the summit. 

Disembarking at the top, 2086m above sea level, you'll be greeted with unrivaled 360° views across the Southern Alps and Canterbury Plains
