Freeride World Tour Academy - Mt Hutt

Step up to freeride and freestyle with our new Freeride World Tour Academy 18-day programme at Mt Hutt. Designed for young athletes ready to evolve their park and freeride/off-piste skills. Our Freeride World Tour Academy Mt Hutt programme prepares athletes for Minishreds and NZ Junior Freeride Tour events, with coaching support at scheduled events forming part of the programme and pathways towards both freestyle and freeride focus. 

If you've completed Shredders, Sliders or Mt Hutt Academy programmes previously and enjoy training with the best, come and join our team! 

Programme Highlights: 

• Immersive Training: One training day per weekend (Sundays) plus 2 days/week in the July School holidays.
• Competition Days: 3 days of supportive coaching during competition days built in. Note: lift passes for other fields are not included in the cost of the programme.
• Holiday Training: During school holiday weeks, additional training runs Tuesdays & Thursdays as well as Sundays.
• Ages: 7+ years 

Dates & Times: 

• Term Time: 9am – 2.30pm Every Sunday starting June 22
• Additional July School Holiday Trainings: 9am – 2:30pm Tuesdays & Thursdays (July 1, July 3, July 8 & July 10)
• Duration: Programme starts Sunday June 22, 2025 and ends 21 September 

Additional Requirements: 

• Freeride World Tour Academy athletes should be confident and in control on all black zone terrain.
• A valid Season Pass is required and must be purchased separately.

Uniforms:

• Branded Freeride World Tour Academy tech hoodies for team athletes will be available for purchase through Mt Hutt retail shop during the season.
