Skiwiland Childcare

A full day childcare option under the supervision of our qualified Early Childhood Educators will ensure your little one has a great day as they build confidence with playtime, both in our daycare centre and on the snow.

Our Mt Hutt Childcare facility is located in our base area and is fully licensed with the New Zealand Ministry of Education. As such, safety and learning are our top priorities and our teachers are there to make sure your child’s mountain experience is awesome. This means that you can enjoy your day on the snow safe in the knowledge your child is enjoying theirs.

Our Skiwiland Childcare option offers both childcare and ski time with a qualified instructor, aimed at teaching your little one the basics of skiing and mountain awareness from an early age. Options include skiing and childcare, or childcare only. 

Times:

  • Full-Day: 9am - 4pm

What's included:

  • Wide range of fun indoor and on-snow learning experiences
  • Morning tea and afternoon tea
  • Lunch is not included, parents are asked to collect their children for lunch from 12:30-1:30
  • Facilities for rest

What to bring?

  • Waterproof jacket, pants or suit
  • Mittens/gloves
  • Change of clothes (extra underwear)
  • Nappies/pull‐ups if required
  • Comfort items - dummy, toy, etc.
  • Bottle and formula if required (please don’t pre-mix formula)
